We are seeking a skilled VB.NET Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance business applications on the Microsoft .NET platform. This role focuses on translating business requirements into reliable software solutions, supporting legacy and enterprise systems, optimizing database integrations, resolving production issues, and collaborating with QA, DevOps, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience as a VB.NET Developer or Software Developer in Microsoft environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with VB.NET, .NET Framework/.NET, and SQL Server database programming
  • Experience with ADO.NET, Entity Framework, or related data access technologies
  • Background building or maintaining Windows Forms, Web Forms, or enterprise desktop/web applications
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or TFS and collaborative delivery with QA, DevOps, and business teams
  • Preferred: experience with C#, ASP.NET, REST APIs or SOAP services, and front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or jQuery
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Success is measured by timely delivery, code quality and maintainability, reduced bugs and incidents, application reliability, and effective enhancement of existing systems
